storm cloud blue
I am forever seeking colors and textures that evoke the way I see things after they filter through the lenses of my eyes and my brain and today I thought I would share one of my custom colors with you. It's called Storm Cloud Blue.
Mixed it up right in the Versatex Royal Blue container. It's a little grey, rich, moody. It takes on a different shade depending on what you print it on, like this linen.

was listening to a tom petty song yesterday - i have heard it a million times, but a line struck me, she had eyes so blue they looked like weather... just like yoshi :)
ReplyDeleteYoshi's eyes are like bright sparkling crystals. I think I would have to print some white metallic foils on cloth then mix up the coolest white blue every and print that on top of the foiling, then scrape it back it little, scruff it up so little twinkles of the foiling peek through. And that would be like Yoshi's eyes. Yoshi is a good dawg. Part Australian cattle dog - part husky???
